The oil detector OM 5/1 consists of a signal unit, a float probe
and an optoelectronic probe. Optionally, up to 5 optoelectronic
probes can be connected. The oil detector OM 5/1 is exclusively suited
for reporting minimal or maximal fill levels and for
reporting oil accumulations when monitoring:
- Catch basins under storage containers, burners, or engines
- Containers (tanks) with inaccessible catch spaces
- Catch spaces under oil-consuming products
- Domes, pipe or cable ducts
- Pump or control stations with potential oil occurrences due to leaks
or backflow
The oil detector OM 5/1 is exclusively suitable for liquids against
which the material polyamide (PA)-hotmelts is sufficiently resistant, such as:
- Diesel fuel (DIN EN 590) and low-viscosity oils with flash points
> 55 °C under atmospheric pressure and temperatures of -10 °C to
+60 °C used in dry indoor environments
