The lamp consists of:
EXTERNAL ENCLOSURE
Tube made of PMMA with incomparable transparency and brightness characteristics. Excellent
resistance to any climate, weather agents, and aging; does not yellow, does not
corrode, does not deteriorate; high rigidity and dimensional stability. Excellent chemical resistance to
most common substances such as alkalis and weak acids, inks, cosmetics, and
aliphatic hydrocarbons (oils and fats). Maximum continuous operating temperature of 85-90°C.

Tube thickness 5mm external diameter 70mm.
LATERAL CLOSURES
Lateral closures made of TAROPLAST (Taromid A 280 MT6) 6,6 loaded at 50% (PA6,6+50%
F.V.) reinforced with fiberglass (Glow wire test 960°) Each closure consists of two distinct parts
that, when the closure screws are tightened, compress the gaskets against the
PMMA tube, thus achieving effective protection against water and
dust infiltration.
SEALS
Sealing O-RING gaskets based on BAYER silicone in red color. Particularly suitable for
use in environments with high temperature range (from -60°C to 180°C), this gasket, thanks to its stability over time, ensures reliable sealing.
INTERNAL SUPPORT
Reflective aluminum screen for maximum luminous efficiency, serving as support for the
converter (where provided) and LED modules.
LED LIGHTING MODULES
The modules are essentially formed by multiple LED emitters with shapes, sizes, and
arrangements to optimize light uniformity in relation to thermal dissipation. The type of
color adopted, in replacement of fluorescent white or very white light
normally used, has a color temperature of 6500 °K.
Lifetime of 50,000 hours (at 25°C) compared to 8-10,000 hours of fluorescent tubes or 500-2000 hours of
halogen lamps.
Completely insensitive to frequent switching (a factor that significantly limits the lifespan of
fluorescent tubes)
Instant start (no warm-up time) at any operating temperature (from -30°C to +40°C) with no inrush currents at switch-on (avoids oversizing of electrical lines or any power transformers)
Luminous efficiency of over 50% of fluorescent tubes as the light emission has an angle of
120° compared to the fluorescent system which is 360°, so all brightness is utilized to
illuminate the interested zone without light dispersion in the external environment. This leads to a
significant saving in energy consumption while maintaining the same level of illumination of the
affected areas.
